Refund & Cancellation Policy
How trials, cancellations, plan changes and refunds work.
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Free trial
The Free plan has no card and no trial. Standard and Pro can start a 30-day trial: a card is collected at checkout, and you are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and the plan you selected is charged.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing settings. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You keep access to paid features until that date.
- You are not charged again after the current period ends.
Payments are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a billing period when you cancel, except where required by law or stated below.
3. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable. Subscription fees, usage credits, and any other amount already paid are not refunded because you cancel, because a billing period has started, or because we suspend or terminate your account. That includes suspension or termination where we detect, or reasonably believe, that you have breached copyright or displayed inappropriate content under our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
We will still provide a refund where:
- You are entitled to one under applicable consumer law.
- You were charged in error or charged after cancelling.
- We agree to a refund at our discretion (for example, a significant service failure not remedied by a service credit).
Any Service Credits under our SLA are applied against future fees and are not paid as cash.
4. Consumer cancellation rights
If you are a consumer in the UK/EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Where you ask us to begin providing the Service during that period (for example, by using it immediately after subscribing), you acknowledge that you may lose the right to cancel once the Service is fully performed, and that we may charge for what you have used. Nothing in this policy affects your non-excludable statutory rights.
5. Plan changes and screen counts
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and may be charged on a pro-rated basis; downgrades take effect at the next billing period. Reducing your screen count below the number of screens you have paired may deactivate screens over the new limit.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund or ask about billing, email help@ambicast.tv from the address on your account, including your invoice reference. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe.
